Hydra Matte | Mattifying Moisturizer by Monsieur BARBIER combines hydration and mattifying care in one step. The vegan formula contains 99.9% ingredients of natural origin, is COSMOS NATURAL validated by Ecocert Greenlife and absorbs especially quickly thanks to its fluid texture.

Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (Sweet Almond Oil) and Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract (Aloe Vera Extract) nourish the skin and, according to the manufacturer, support restoration of the skin barrier. Crithmum Maritimum Extract (Sea Samphire Extract) has a toning and firming effect, according to Monsieur BARBIER, against signs of fatigue. The mattifying formula also helps reduce unwanted shine, especially in the T-zone, and promotes a more even-looking complexion.

How is Hydra Matte different from mattifying face powder?

Hydra Matte is a moisturizer with a mattifying effect, while face powder mainly reduces visible surface shine. The cream combines skincare with a less shiny finish in one step.

Can I use Hydra Matte underneath sunscreen?

Yes. Apply Hydra Matte after cleansing your face. Once it has absorbed, you can apply an appropriate sunscreen on top. No sun protection factor is stated for the cream itself.

Can I use Hydra Matte after shaving?

A lightweight face cream can generally also be used after shaving on intact skin. If skin is particularly irritated, test cautiously first and do not apply the cream to open shaving cuts.

Is Hydra Matte fragrance-free?

No. The INCI contains Parfum as well as Limonene, Linalool, Citral, Geraniol and Hexyl Cinnamal. If you are sensitive to fragrance, review the full ingredient list.
