Description

Hyaluronic acid serum with marine collagen

The Collagen Hyaluron Serum by Dr. Severin® combines marine collagen with low- and high-molecular hyaluronic acid. The formula is suitable for all skin types and can be used on the face, neck, décolleté and under the eyes.

Hyaluronic acid acts as a natural moisture-binding ingredient. Marine collagen forms a protective barrier film on the skin, significantly improves its water-binding capacity and provides an immediate feeling of freshness. Betaine and glycerin deliver an additional hydration boost.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this serum different from the 2.5% Collagen Hyaluron Serum Ultra?

The classic Collagen Hyaluron Serum lists Soluble Collagen and focuses on hyaluronic acid, betaine and glycerin. The 2.5% Ultra formula contains Hydrolyzed Collagen and additional complexes such as Ecolism® and Phytodermina Lifting®. These are different formulations.

Can collagen applied to skin replace the body's own collagen?

No. Collagen in a serum does not directly replace collagen in deeper layers of skin. The manufacturer describes a protective film on the skin surface that helps bind moisture.

What do low- and high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid mean?

The terms refer to different molecular sizes of hyaluronic acid. Dr. Severin states that this serum combines both. The ingredient list names hyaluronic acid as Sodium Hyaluronate.

Does Collagen Hyaluron Serum contain added perfume?

The manufacturer's published ingredient list does not name an ingredient called Parfum. Anyone sensitive to particular substances should still check the complete ingredient list.

Can I combine this serum with vitamin C or retinol skincare?

Hydrating serums can generally be used alongside other skincare products. If your skin is sensitive, introduce new products gradually and monitor tolerance. Sunscreen is advisable during the day.
