Can the vitamin C serum replace sunscreen?

No. Vitamin C can provide antioxidant skincare benefits, but the serum has no stated sun protection factor (SPF). Continue using sunscreen with an appropriate SPF during the day.

Does this serum contain alcohol?

Yes. Alcohol Denat. is listed fourth in the INCI. If your skin is very dry or sensitive to alcohol, patch-test before regular use.

Can a vitamin C serum change color or oxidize?

Ascorbic acid can oxidize when exposed to light, air and warmth. Close the bottle tightly and protect it from heat and direct sunlight. Check the product before further use if the color or smell changes significantly.

Can I use vitamin C serum together with retinol?

Both can be included in a skincare routine. If your skin is sensitive, using vitamin C in the morning and retinol at night may be more comfortable; watch for signs of irritation.

Is the vitamin C serum free from fragrance ingredients?

The INCI does not list Parfum, but the formula contains Rosa Damascena Flower Oil and rose flower water. Check the ingredients if you are sensitive to fragrant ingredients.
