Klar’s Lemongrass & Aloe Vera Solid Shampoo is designed for oily roots and dry ends. Lemongrass degreases the hair and gives it an exotic-fresh scent. Moisturising aloe vera helps prevent the hair from drying out and the scalp from itching, while giving the hair new strength.

The solid shampoo is vegan, plastic-free from product to packaging and made using only natural ingredients. Klar’s special rolling process makes it especially long-lasting. Its solid format is leak-proof and practical for travel. It is made using traditional manufactory methods in Heidelberg, Germany.

Is Lemongrass & Aloe Vera Solid Shampoo fragrance-free?

No. Its INCI contains Parfum and listed fragrance components including Citral, Limonene, Geraniol, Linalool and Citronellol. Check the ingredients if you are sensitive to fragrances.

Does the shampoo contain pure aloe vera gel?

The INCI lists Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder. The shampoo therefore contains an aloe vera ingredient, but it is not pure aloe vera gel.

Why does sulfate-free shampoo contain Sodium Sulfite?

Sodium Sulfite is a sulfite, not a sulfate cleansing agent such as SLS or SLES. The formula uses Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate as a cleanser. Sodium Sulfite does not contradict the sulfate-free claim.

Can people with sensitive scalps use this shampoo?

Klar particularly recommends it for oily roots and dry ends. If you have a sensitive scalp or a known fragrance intolerance, check the Parfum and listed fragrance components before use.

How should I store this shampoo bar between washes?

Let it dry on a draining soap dish after use instead of leaving it in standing water. Before travelling, allow the bar to dry as thoroughly as possible.
