The Sensitive 5% PHA Spray Toner exfoliates sensitive skin particularly gently, removes dead skin cells and supports smoother, more even-looking skin. The microfine spray mist distributes pleasantly and without touching the skin across the face, neck and décolleté.

PHA (Polyhydroxy Acid) supports renewal of the skin surface and refines the complexion. Oat extract soothes the skin, reduces irritation and strengthens the skin barrier. Chamomile flower water complements the mild, moisturizing care.

How to Use

After cleansing, spray onto the face, neck and décolleté from a distance of about 20 cm.

Polyhydroxy acids (PHAs) exfoliate the skin's surface and are often considered gentler than many AHAs because of their molecular structure. PHA can still irritate sensitive skin, so individual tolerance matters.

Which ingredient provides the 5% PHA in this toner?

Gluconolactone appears in the INCI. It is a polyhydroxy acid and the exfoliating ingredient in the formula marketed as containing 5% PHA. Citric Acid is also listed, but that does not mean the toner contains another 5% PHA.

Can I combine the PHA toner with niacinamide or hyaluronic acid?

Generally, yes. Hydrating hyaluronic acid and niacinamide can often be used alongside PHA in a skincare routine. With sensitive skin, introduce products gradually and pause if significant redness or stinging develops.

Do I need sunscreen when using a PHA toner?
