Rhassoul Kitchen | Face & Body Soap Bar by Monsieur BARBIER is a versatile lipid-enriched natural soap with 99.98% ingredients of natural origin and 8% superfat. The vegan formula is COSMOS NATURAL validated by Ecocert Greenlife and is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Moroccan Lava Clay (Rhassoul) helps bind excess sebum and impurities so they can be rinsed away. Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Shea Butter) and Ricinus Communis Seed Oil (Castor Oil) add rich care to the cleansing formula. The creamy lather is suitable for face, body and beard and, according to Monsieur BARBIER, can also be used as a solid shampoo, clay mask or shaving soap.

Is Rhassoul Kitchen fragrance-free?

No. The INCI lists Parfum and Coumarin. Anyone sensitive to fragrance should check the ingredients; adding rhassoul clay does not automatically make the soap fragrance-free.

Does 8% superfat mean this soap is pH-neutral?

No. The 8% superfat describes extra fatty components in the soapmaking process, not its pH. Rhassoul Kitchen remains a traditional soap; a pH-neutral value is not claimed.

Can I use Rhassoul Kitchen like a pure rhassoul clay mask?

Monsieur BARBIER allows the lather to be used briefly as a mask. However, this is a soap containing rhassoul, not pure clay. Do not leave the lather to dry on the skin; rinse it off thoroughly after a short application.

Can I lather Rhassoul Kitchen with a shaving brush?

Yes. Since the manufacturer also describes it as suitable for shaving, you can use a damp shaving brush to build lather. How dense and stable the foam becomes also depends on water quantity and brush technique.

How should I store the soap to make it last longer?

Let the bar dry on a well-draining soap dish between uses. Avoid leaving it in standing water: this helps prevent the soap from becoming soft and wearing away unnecessarily.
